Hey the rest of the NL east has been losing. Things could be worse. I am forever the optimist. St. Louis is just a better team but 3 against the Nats can cure a lot of ills that and they scored 8 runs today. They'll get it together.

63-99 for the Mets but the good news is that they will finish 10 games ahead of the Nats.

and they will win the last 10 games of the season......but not enough to recover from a collaspe, which unlike the last two years will not occur in September.........

It is happening now.

As soon as the brain trust, Minaya, decided to bring back that worthless Perez, I just KNEW the season would suck like it already has. The pitching is just as bad as it always has been,--if not worth, but now a jackass is laughing his way allllllllll the way to the bank to the tune of 36 million dollars. I am so glad I decided against paying through the nose to go and watch these losers lose. At least I can turn off the game at home and not have to battle exiting traffic after having paid $18 dollars to park.

I truly shudder whenever I think of where they'd be without Santana. Don't make fun of the Nationals. We could be closer to them by fewer games. Furthermore, we haven't played them YET. THAT should be the REAL test.

Manuel undermined Randolf so he could take overin a very subtle manner. The profound oartor should be given his walking papers along with the general manager. This team lacks leadership. How can a player of Beltrans capability not slide home? Why are so many balls dropped? Lack of effort and caring is evident and needs to be changed

Who is kidding who! Mets did nothing to bolster team except for the bullpen so why should anyone be surprised.

We are not surprised. In fact, we should know this owner-inept, manager-inept, team of inepts would not fail to embarrass us fans once again.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Gemini

It's a busy day and you've got quite enough to do without having to cope with people clamoring for your attention and likely to go into a huff if they don't get it. Is this person feeling neglected because you're busily occupied elsewhere or are there other reasons for their demanding mood? Simply giving them a big hug could make all the difference to their behavior.
