Same old formula....great starting pitching, lousy bullpen, meager offense. The other variation is lousy starting pitching, brilliant bullpen, meager offense. There are other variations too, but they all end with no offense, no situational hitting, and the inability to drive runners in.
As much as I hate to finally admit it, this is a .500 ball club...period. They will not be in contention for anything this year. |

Before Jane, AKA MohammedAIi64, gets here and starts B*I*T*C*H*N*G, it need to be said that the Mets S*U*C*K*. Hey Jane, don't get your panties in a knot. It's just baseball.

Wagner proved last September that when the going gets tuff he doesn't respond. Just when the Mets need him to help right the ship he comes up empty. Maybe Ollie Perez needs to get in his face.

Nometfan loser, yankees s-u-c-k as well. Overpaid, over the hill stars with the biggest post season choker in MLB history.. it needs to be said you're an arrogant fool and your yanks are the ones wearing the panties..

I can't blame Wagner this time, he got ground balls and the infield didn't get the double play. BASICS... FUNDAMENTALS c'mon Willie can't anyone teach???
why are pitchers taken out of a game when they are doing OK. When was the last time a pitcher had a complete game.
Yada, yada, yada, it's all the same story. High payroll, bad attitude, no guts, loosers!
Lol, you sound like a real educated guy, and mature to boot. |

Did anyone see the postgame interviews with Wagner and Randolf. Maybe it's me but didn't it seem like they both were on the verge of crying. Feeling sorry for oneself is not the answer. Determination and grit is. Willie needs to show some backbone and challange or call-out a few players. Except for Heilman who is finished in ny, or Delgado who really should retire, this team could work or at least be better than what they are now. Yeah,I agree. Does anyone teach on this club, like maybe teaching Castillo how to play small ball again or Wright how not to swing for the fences in pressure situations. Maybe the answer is to dump the entire coaching staff, manager and all, and hire guys who are not afraid or intimided by these guys. Either way, obviously, something has to be done.

C'mom all you Wagner supporters. Let's hear it... chirp...chirp...chirp...
The guy's been in the majors for over ten years. It's not the manager's job to teach his players how to play the game. I wish I was wrong, but it's obvious that Wagner is washed up. And Heilman should be dropped like a hot potato. |
Dewy, you are a jerk. Wagner throws 98 mph still. he's not as good as he used to be but he's better than most.

Time fot some heads to roll; Willie, Rick, Howard, or Omar!!!!!!!!!

The New York Mess. It has been very entertaining to watch this trainwreck of a baseball "team" since the start of last September. The team is so old its funny. You knoe theyre gonna lose its only matter of when and how.

Man, he sucks.
Ummm...one problem. He throws right over the middle like he's playing pool. Any major league player can smash a fastball. The guy just plain sucks. |

Ah you loyal(???) Mets fans are amusing! The guy is one of the best closers in the game but you're ready to run him out of town over a couple of bad outings!

The other day when they won after giving up a lead there were 26 comments...today there are 19...the MET fan has given up on this team...it's only June and already we just don't care ...best thing about the MET's is that I haven't bought any tickets, nor will I. I can spend the money on gas.

Are the Mets still a ML baseball club?
