Say this for the Mets. They don't mind working overtime for their supper. Conversely, it's fair to note that quantity is a poor substitute for quality.

Where are all the Clowns from yesterday telling me I do not anything?
The supposed Mets team batting average is the highest in the NL?!
I am the biggest Mets fan, you will find around.
Bottom Line: This team does not hit. The Mets have made the Cards starters last 2 nights look like Seaver& Ryan.
Rick Down has to go.
When is Julio Franco going to retire?
How can David Wright swing at a 2-0 pitch down 2 runs in the 11th inning.
When will Delgado take a walk?
How many more times can Beltran ground to 1st base?
what r u kidding

i couldnt believe fans at the game last night booing the pitching. how about booing the batters?! all oliver perez could do was give up 1 run, 2 credited. THE METS BATS ARE PITIFUL! and 2 straight games against no-name pitchers. theres nothing wrong with Mets pitching at all. the bats are pitiful. might as well pull people from the crowd to bat...whats the deal?!?!

TIME TO SHOW SCHOENEWEIS THE DOOR. 3 YEAR CONTRACT FOR THIS CLOWN? OVERRATED. JULIO FRANCO WHO SEEMS TO BE A NICE GUY & A POSITIVE IN THE CLUBHOUSE WITH THE YOUNGER PLAYERS IS ALMOST 50. CAN'T HIT ANYMORE. EASY GROUNDBALL OUT THAT PREVENTED THE METS FROM MAKING A FABULOUS COMEBACK. ONCE WILLIE BROUGHT IN SCOTTSO, THIS GAME WAS OVER. BRENDAN RYAN FURST MAJOR LEAGUE HOME RUN, ONLY HAD 6 IN THE MINORS. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? SAD, SAD, SAD. DELGADO STILL STRUGGLING, VALENTIN GOT A BIG HIT IN THE 9TH BUT STILL MADE TWO ERRORS ALTHOUGH THE OFFICIAL SCORER ONLY GAVE HIM 1 THAT KILLED THEM. HOPEFULLY GLAVINE & EL DUQUE CAN RIGHT THE SHIP TONIGHT & TOMORROW NIGHT BEFORE THE BIG PHILLIE SERIES ON FRIDAY (2-FER) & SATURDAY & SUNDAY. TIME TO PUT JULIO FRANCO OUT TO PASTURE. GO METS.

Let's put the blame where it belongs....Willie sucks, has no clue, whats with his thoughts about using an over the hill player that has not come thru in the clutch. Or pulling out the new kid, to have a pinch hitter, who walked..hell, you could have told that to the kid and then have Ledee hit, who has been playing pretty good. Also, if you don't win it in the bottom of the inning with Reyes leading off you risk what happened. Why, is Reyes not bunting to get on, why is he allowed to swing for the fence? The Mets will win in spite of Willie and lose because of him......

Offensively, Delgado is the most responsible for the Mets woes. He should be batting 7 until he gets his act together. Maybe send shoenweis dow to the minors to help get his confidence back. Either that or trade him. They need another starter so they can cut Sele and make Sosa the long reliever. Why didn't they resign Darren Oliver? He was great last year. Why Shoeneweis over Bradford? Minaya's responsibility.

Well stated. With Heilman, Schoenweis, Down, and Willie the Mets are stagnated. I still don't see where all this Willie is great talk comes from. In 21/2 years he still looks lost. Valentin should be sitting and lets see what Gotay can do on a steady basis.Franco in the spanish booth to be their Keith Hernandez and Keith should be the batting coach. Down can be in the stands selling sunflower seeds. Willie has no imagination when it comes to using sthe talent he has in the line up. He will burn out Lo Duca before the All-star game. Where the hell is "The Kid"??

The New Moon in your fourth house of home and family may find you longing to stay cuddled up in bed. Many of you will want to sleep late this morning, but few of you have the luxury to do so.
