i am beginning to get worried about the sox. they scare me. they are too inconsistent. i cannot believe, how unknown pitchers, dominate the sox, and the sox make these clowns, look like cy young.

also, dump farmer, and put a decent play by play man, to work along side steve stone.

Looks like Gavin Fraud made a comeback, tonight, while Gavin floyd took the night off.

Once, again, the Sox make a meatball pitcher look like Tom Seaver. Are the advance scounts really this bad?

Konerko is either not ready, or he has totally lost it, at the plate. Either way, he is hurting the team. The way he is swinging the bat suggests he is still not right, physically. If his hitting woes continue, I think Ozzie and Kenny should encourage him to shut it down, at least for the next 30 days, and ghet himself together.

All things aside, this was truly a team loss. The uo-and-down saga of the 2008 White Sox continues...

This game obviously was not a good one. Every team has its ups and downs. As we all know this team is extremely streaky, hopefully this down streak doesn't last too long. Its only half way through the season so lets not think the sky is falling.

Ugly game last night. What terrible base running! I can understand TCQ trying to score from 3rd on Thome's hit to left, but I have no idea what OC was doing going for 2 on that line drive to center. I guess the good news is that Carrasco looked good in middle relief. I still think Paulie will come around. He's been having trouble with the off speed pitches, but his swing looks fine. I'm betting we'll win the next two games, then get off to a strong start for the second half.

Go White Sox!

Kenny better realize that this team is probably good enough to win that crappy division but not good enough to go deep in the playoffs. They need another good starting pitcher. Contreres is done. Buerhle is inconsistent. Vasquez has not been good. Denks is the only one I trust.

A long season. A couple of losses. That's baseball. Move on to another day. This team is fine, for goodness sake. Floyd had a bad outing. That's the game. Did anyone think it would be easy and the Sox would cruise to a division title? Relax and enjoy the ride, Sox fans. Stick with the Sox!

Bummer.
Floyd got an a$$ whooping, it happens.

Konerko couldn't break glass with that swing of his. He's done. I think everyone can see the difference between a true aging slugger like Thome and a wannabe like Konerko.

Cabrera has got to be the most selfish (albeit talented)player the Sox have had in a long time. Whats it been? 5 teams in 6 years? No wonder.

Go Sox!

THe hitting line up with Konerko out of it is really really good. Konerko makes this offense look God aweful. Its sad to say, but Konerko's days on the southside are OVA! Its time to go back to the lineup with Paulie out. This team is just more fun to watch with Konerko out.
On a secondary note, all the so called "fans" that are jumping ship are pathetic. News flash people, this isnt going to be the last time the sox will lose. there is still a whole second half of baseball to be played. Sox should take at least one game of this series. For some reason the Sox have a hard time with TExas in their ballpark. Oh well. Take at least one game and go into the allstar break on top.
Kenny, you need to make a move. I dont have any faith in Contreas or Konerko. Trade Konerko, Contreas, and Uribe for a pitcher and a utility man. Alexi needs to move up in the lineup and put swisher back at first. Platoon Anderson and Wise in center field.

J, I agree with everything in this post. However, I wouldn't platoon Anderson and Wise. Play Wise everyday until he plays his way out of the lineup. Anderson was given a chance to be an everyday player but he can't hit over .230 and has limited speed. Interestingly enough, Ryan Sweeney was in the same boat, went to Oakland, and is now a much better hitter. What does that say for the hitting coach. Anyway, Wise, since he came from Cincinnati, has not been ruined by Walker yet so he should be playing everyday until he proves he shouldn't. But for sure, Konerko should be benched.

I agree as well, however we are going to need something. With paul out of the line up, sox were consistantly putting up runs, now they cant even hit. Paul out of the lineup, Sox were hitting good proven hitters and scoring runs. I do like Wise and yes he should be starting in center. He can also steal. If you were kenny,(realisticlly) what moves would you make before the trade deadline.

I think have have been speaking the truth lately. Nice outing boys. Looks like a second place all-star break is in the future and detroit is taking the express to place us in third. Remember its not how you start, but how you finish. Looks like Ozzie was right good guys finish last and we have some good guys. Maybe Farve will be a BEAR!

Do you really think some other team is going to take our overpaid garbage and give something in return on top of that? Why would any team?
Also, putting Swisher at fisrt would give the team the worst hitting 1st baseman in baseball. But at least he can play some D at 1st, he hsa no right playing center, he is easily the worst center fielder in the majors. No depth will cost this team in the end.
Just a thought, why is anyone surprised that Konerko isn't produsing? It's been about 2 years.

Are you serious????, when Swisher took over first base duties he was hitting really good. He was hitting over 300, a couple of grandslams, ect.

I agree with Swisher being Garbage at center. I wont dispute that.

And you ask who would take our overpaid Garbage???? Dont know, just wishing on hopes and dreams. Im sure Seattle would take him. Maybe?? We would have to eat some of the contract though.
