The event was a tragedy, just as tragic will be the this 6 year old child will have to live with the memory of his Father trying to get him a ball and it costing him his life, and the child his Father.

God Bless this child and the family.

This is such a sad sad tragic story. I have a son the same age and this just wrenches my heart. I fight back tears to know what his son ( Mr. Stone's ) and rest of his family are going through during this terrible time in their lives. Like Josh Hamilton Said " We can only trust that God has a plan". My thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in this tragedy. Josh Hamilton must know that this was not his fault. He was only trying to make a little boy's trip to the ballpark a happy and memorable one.

YOU are the BUFFOON!
THINK (if it's possible for YOU!)
about what YOU said!
People like YOU have a real problem!
It's a good thing that YOU are in the
"minority"!

I'm not the one who dove for the ball instead of thinking about my own safety or the lively hood of my family.

I am in fact in the majority of people who know when it's safe to go for a ball when perched on a 20ft. balcony.

You retard! He wasn't going after a foul ball it was tossed to him by a player. Most real dads will try and get their kids a ball. It was an accident plain and simple. Someone blamed him because he was wearing flip flops. How stupid! It still would have happened even if he were wearing tennis shoes.
