Gee, I see where Carlos Lee of the Astros is batting a robust .307 with 24 Hrs and 92 RBI. He's putting a hurt on a lot of teams. The Orioles could have signed him last Winter, but nah. He was too fat or something.

I must say, what I saw tonight at the game left me thinking less of the Oriole Staff Originization. The organization asked the Naval Academy Color Guard and Band to come fly the colors and play the National Anthema, but after they had completed it, the organization put them in the worst seats in the stadium (upper deck, right field/1st base line). To me this showed a distinct lack of class by whoever runs the seating for the stadium. If you ask a group like this to come perform, they deserve better seating that the worse seats in the place and the ballbark wasn't even at half capacity (~17.5k out of a total possibly of ~48k). The organization could have shown a lot more respect for these young men and women that are giving of themselves to all of us. (They're the ones that fight for your freedoms and you should respect them for that. And before someone says that I'm says that I'm for the war in Iraq, I'm not, I'm very much against it, but I realize that the military was put into this position not by their choice, but by the numbskulls running our government.)

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Leo

You're really on the ball today so there's no danger of anyone tricking you or fobbing you off with lame excuses. If you suspect that a loved one is hiding something from you, you'll want to question them in a lot of detail. That's all very well but try not to turn it into the third degree, nor to make them feel hounded or bullied by your desire to know what's going on.
