Whopee. Where's my prune whip? Marlin's won? Get my walker. Where's the lolly trolley to the Walgreen's store? I need more sweet and low! Where's the early bird tonight? Look--a nickle off at WalMart!!

Two comments after a win over a division leader says it all about the total disregard local people have for the Marlins, and it really shows in the poor attendence. I'm not saying its good or its bad, just that there is no enthusiasm for this team in South Florida. I sincerely doubt baseball will every succeed down here.

You're right, and it's sad. The South Florida media don't care as well. Just tune into the "home of the Marlins" on the radio and they virtually ignore the Fish.
