Long before the Twins stepped into the batter's box against Roy Halladay on Wednesday night, they did not sound optimistic. Full Story

Hey Bonser, it's brutal alright, now pack up & head to BELOIT for the rest of the season. So much for the 35 lbs of weight loss.....you should've ballooned to 300 lbs....look at Hernandez's beer belly & his record.....Bonser, you're the Carlos Silva of 2008....How bout' gaining those 35 lbs back, huh? What do you say?

What's with Jesse Crain? A pitcher is taught from little league days to run towards 3rd before throwing the ball in that situation. It's nice that his throw was 6 feet off as well. What has happened to the Twins playing sound fundamental baseball? They had better get back to it or they can't win. Get on 'em Gardy!

I still say this team won't win more than 76 games this season. Build for the future...develop PITCHING!

You are taught early in bseball in a run down you run directly at the runner and run them back to the base they came from if possible. This doesn't allow the runner to advance a base if you botch it and it doesn't allow a runner behind them to move up a base. This team needs some drills on fundamentals in run downs, base running and throws to bases. I would have them all doing it until they did it right in the games. It must get lost someplace in translation. They have given several games away this year related to these types of mistakes. Go Twins.

The Twins offense needs to show a lot of improvement if this team hopes toi contend into the summer. They had Doc on the ropes and let him off by constantly swinging at the first pitch in the count and hitting weak ground outs.

Maybe Vavra should get two cymbols and crash them up against Gomez' and Young's ears to get them to stop swinging at bad balls. WORK THE COUNT!

I like Carlos Gomez and think he has just huge potential for the Twins, but someone teach him how to run the bases. When you are on second and the tying run and the ball is hit on the ground, make sure it gets past the pitcher before trying to advance to third. Game costing play.
And apparently, Boof is picking up right where Brad Radke left off. Horrible first inning, pretty good from then on. I never thought this team would even come close to first place or even competing at all and I know it's still early in the season, but they still have been fun to watch and we do have some good young talent. Every team has slumps, it's how quick you can rebound out of them that makes the team. Go Twins!

Brian, that's what Boston wonders, we lost to the Twins? Every team is bound to lose some to bad teams, and win against fabulous teams. That's why it's a LONG season.

That's right, don't jump off a bridge because of a couple of losses. Pat has it right, it is a long season. As this young team rounds into shape and eliminates the mental errors, I see them keeping things interesting in the Central Division all summer.
On a positive note, it's good to see the Twins hitters starting to get hot. Once again, we are out-hitting the opponent. Now we just have to out score them!

Toronto has the third best ERA in the american league. If the bats come to life they're going to contend.
