The Indians are in a never ending cycle wish includes developing players and then not being able to afford them. This essentially makes them a minor league team for the teams with big wallets. The only solution for this is to level the playing field financially which MLB is either unable or unwilling to do. Until then, there may be an occasional year where everything falls into place and players exceed expectations, but these will be few. Next year looks to be dismal with little or no pitching.
