Love Cabrera. But good move. Management finally does what the fans have been saying for weeks. They got ride of Michaels like the fans had been saying for, months, and so on. Takes awhile for management to catch on.

On target Joe! Hope this infuses a little "jump" in the lineup. If Barfied can hit respectably, filed well and run a bit, we may see a few more runs. I agree, its about time! |

Michaels is hitting 280 with the Pirates and hit a Grand Slam the other day. He's also a good fielder. If he continues this trend it again says something about Wedge. |

You can't hit .180 on a struggling offensive team and expect to keep your job. Hopefully Barfield pans out and we can see Asdrubal at short and Peralta at 3rd next year if Blake isn't re-signed.
