Perkins is establishing a pattern for himself. Maybe he just doesn't have the arm to be a professional pitcher. Maybe the Twins should write him off and put him in triple A next season. If he can effectively pitch 100 innings by mid-July and still be sharp, the Twins could bring him up again. Otherwise, he doesn't belong in the rotation or in the Twins' future plans since he doesn't show signs of being much of a reliever, which is very sad and difficult to say with Perkins' being a Minnesota guy.
