$10,000,000 in 2008 for Eric Gagne? Complete insanity. The guy's done. He looked absolutely horrid with Boston last year. It got so bad, the Red Sox refused to pitch him with the game anywhere near close. Oh well, it's only ten mil. Who cares.

This will definitely drive up the market on free agent pitchers. Relief pitchers coming off of marginal seasons will be asking for $20 million per year. |
