How soon until Tankersley comes back? It can't be too soon. Julio doesn't know where the strike zone is. Blown save today, double, single, sacrifice, single, 2 runs scored. First try at impressing the new team and he blows it. Walks the bases loaded. And then he loses the game. I hope we can rescind the trade. Nothing like paying a guy money and then watch him proceed to fail - miserably!

Julio had, what, an over 4.00 ERA last year. Looks every bit of that and more.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is not the last time Jorge Julio will do this to us. He will give us a lot of headaches. Hopefully Gonzalez and the front office realize this early enough and don't let Julio ruin our season.

Here we go again. These late inning blown leads. It will come back to hurt them at end of season when we widh they would have won one or two of these games...

Maybe they can spring that other guy from prison!

I hope they learn early to close out games. They still don't have enough talent to skate by. Bad game.

One whole bad appearance and it's time to cut him loose??

There are some very good reasons why the season is 162 games long. Not the least among them is so nobody freaks out after blowing *1* of them.

Lighten up folks.
It's only one game.
The true test of a good closer is how they respond to a bad outing.
Watch his next save opportunity. See how he does.
If he comes back strong, then you have a good closer.
Panic is what non-closers do.
I think there are a few fans who are non-closers.

P.S. Pujols is only batting .250 with no homeruns. Trade him now !

Julio is crap. Our bullpen is going to hurt us all year. If the Marlins get that in order we will be a dangerous team.

Spend some money and get a closer before it's too late. Don't wait until we're 11-31 again.

The marlins have their closer. His name is Henry Owens. Pinpoint control with nasty stuff. Julio was awful with the mets and will only disappoint here.

Henry Owens looks great and he challenges the hitters. I wanted him to close from Spring Training. Lindstrom was another option. There was really no reason to get Julio.

Capricorn

You're dashing around in several directions at once today because you're gripped by the burning desire to get things done. You're in a tearing hurry, and the problem is that this could make you rather irritable if things don't go the way you want or people don't jump to it. You might also be feeling angry with a friend, even if you can't put your finger on what's wrong.
