Omar's BIG pay days to his "buddies". Delgado, Castillo, Beltran, Martinez, Santana, Oliver Perez. Pattern? Yet a man named Lowe is too expensive. It's pitiful that Omar's agenda allows for Oliver Perez to make more money per year than David Wright. And how many other American pitchers were passed on by Omar. Each are better than Perez.

Come on, David Wright. You can't win championships if you can't hit the other team's ace. A good pitcher on the mound is no excuse for not scratching out some runs.

Take a lesson from 1986: tenacity and scrappiness wins ballgames. A lot of ballgames. Those guys never sat back and "let the game come to them." They never waited "to get in a groove."

And the opposing "ace" on the mound sure doesn't excuse the miserable play in the field exhibited by this team when Santana is on the mound. Beware: a few more games like that and even Johann's nearly infinite patience will run out with you jokers.

How about the deal he gave 48 year old Julio Franco?
