Wow. Never in my life have I seen a team fold in the last month and a half of a season like the Orioles. 6-27. It really is a disgrace. All the good feelings from the first half of the season are gone gone gone.

The Birds lost 7-5 in the second game. So sad, so very very sad indeed. The season is mercifully coming to a close. If one more person posts supporting Trembley I will just scream. Trembley is pathetic. McFail is pathetic. Oh how I long for the days of Pat Gillick and Dave Johnson.

Must agree with pajoyo. Trembley is the poorest excuse for even a Little League Manager. He started to lose as soon as the players mothers stopped coming to the games to tell him who and how to play the game. Send him to the Winter Leagues and don't let him back. Pathetic is an understatement.

No heart, no team, no nothing. Pathetic only barely scratches the surface. Rock stupid people trying to pretend they know how to play anything above sandlot baseball. A bunch of overpaid quitters and whiners that no other team wants.

Why anybody would want to spend any amount of money to participate in or otherwise encourage this nonsense is beyond any halfway reasonable person.

Why would any parent want to give their children nightmares by forcing them to attend these games(?) and sit for hours watching this 21st century version of the Keystone Cops & Monty Python's "Bobble heads & Boobs?"

I have tickets to Friday's game against the Blue jays. I have upper deck box seats. Will the ushers let me walk down to the lower level if there are about 8,000 empty field level seats? After all, I have been a loyal Orioles fan since 1971.

Won't it LOOK BETTER on a cosmetic level if the ushers let all the people in the upper deck come down to the lower level? I mean, at least it will give the APPEARANCE of a lot of fans if we are all bunched together in the field level, no?

Where is everybody? When the final pitch was thrown, there were about 35 people left in the park. They can't say they were all at the game.

Good lord first order of business in the offseason is to cut Jamie Walker. This is ridiculous and shameful to just fold like this for fans who still follow this franchise after 11 inept seasons, Macphail better get busy in the offseason.

No. I was at a game earlier this season and we walked up on the wrong side of the upper deck. We tried to walk in right there rather than walk around. It was the 3rd inning and there was zero people sitting in the section we tried to walk into and also the 2 adjorning sections as well. The usher turned us away. I couldn't believe. The O's need to give us something becuae they are certainly not giving us a competative baseball team.

Why do we have to suffer with another year of Trembley!!!!!!! Maybe they'll get smart and do a Billick and rescind the offer for next year? He has no clue what's going on! His arrogant excuse for hooking the pitcher early (usual nasty media conference) is because he didn't like his arm angle. He took the new guy out in the 2nd game for some reason and put Walker in to lose another one

I was busy playing poker, but after Simon served up the mammoth home run to make it 5-3, I told my card crew "If Trembley brings in Walker turn the television off, please." I didn't even remotely think Trembley would bring in probably the WORST pitcher EVER to humiliate an Orioles uniform in Jamie Walker.....but there he was.

Hey, we lost the first game. That's the way it goes. But when the O's are winning 5-3 with two outs in the 8th inning, and Trembley ONCE AGAIN brings in Walker for reasons unknown, I'm downright mad. Hostile, furious, absolutely beside myself livid. Bringing in Jamie PUTRID Walker instead of ANY OTHER reliever makes me want to projectile VOMIT.

The kid we had pitching, Simon, tossed the gem of his life, and Trembley brings in BUM OF THE MILLENIUM Walker to puke the whole thing away.

I have never been so disgusted with the outcome of an Orioles game in all of my life as I was tonight.

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Gemini

You are in a dissatisfied mood, and are just spoiling for a fight today. However, be warned that this could backfire on you unpleasantly, especially if you take on superiors at work. At home, everyone is used to your behaviour and they generally make allowances for you, as they will today.
