Widger dumped, Alomar returns as No. 2 catcher

While we nee a back up cather, we gave up way way to much for a 40 year old back up. You cannot mortgage excellent young pitching for another back up catcher. This move will come back as one of the worse trades in Sox history.
We need a set up RHP, and a hitting ss. Brian Anderson is just staring to get it and is too valuable to give up on now.
Kenny got distracted, and why I don't know. He must make something happen this week or start looking to next year.
He would not have to do anything if the starting pitching would get their collective heads out off their collective rear ends!!!!

Sandy Alomar is with-out question an upgrade- defesively, offensively, and as a

game caller for the pitchers. Yes, he is 40, but the two minor leaguers are worth it.

I fully doubt they be anything special. This is about this year, Alomar will not be

back next year. Now the Sox gave up two more minor leaguers for righty Mike MacDougal,

the former closer for the Royals- yes--- the Royals. All I have to say is four words;

Don Cooper, Matt Thornton. You know what I'm talkin' about. By tommorow the Sox should

also have Alfonso Soriano. World Series Repeat? A resounding YES!

Anyone care to RESPOND??? I thought not.....
