Though I am somewhat surprised, this is exactly what I was hoping for. This kid can pitch as he showed us all last September. Who knows how long Wang will be down? Stretch this kid out and see what we have.

The victory last night was very encouraging and the Twins are no slouch team. Mauer is an animal.
Waiting to see who blinks first between the Yankees and what's-their-names is making for a tense situation. But what I'm interested in most is seeing Aceves start tomorrow. From what I've read, the man is brimming with confidence and his numbers (2.02 ERA) are darn good. Fingers crossed, campers. |

And Robbie Cano, don't u know actually got a hit with the bases loaded, so that should bring him up to about .210 with RISP!
There is no doubt in my mind, Wang is done as a Yankee (in the future), he has no trade value now, so the best they can hope for is to move him in the off-season! Hughes and possibly Aceves will be the rotation next year, think Pettitte is a goner too, catch pitch at new stadium. and his agents are a headache every winter regarding his value (or he might just retire, he should). |
