BE PREPARED! The 'Big One' could hit at any time, unexpectedly. The police and government will be unable to help, so it will be every man, woman, and child on their own. And you know who'll be running the streets, so get a gun to protect yourself and your family!! It is wise to err on the side of caution.....

Not to be rude because I'm the same way about people adding drama to instill fear, but there were a few deaths. I'm -not- sure but I think it was two. I felt the earthquake during the weekend and yesterday's earthquake. It lasted a few seconds. I was in chula vista. I'm new here to cali and yesterday's earthquake is the third one I've felt. Still need to secure my stuff! Having a gun is a bit much but I thought about that...ya never know what idiot is gona try to loot your house. I'm a female and I'm from Texas. It doesn't make me ignorant to want a gun. I'm not gona wave it around town. I would just like to protect my home, because people don't respect what's not theirs. Especially in a chaotic situation.
