Great news from the orioles, Daniel just needs rest and time off. He will be good as ever next year, once again leading the league in walks, hit batters,, and wild pitches. The only thing different will be that the orioles will reward him and pay him more money to achieve those goals.

Has anyone seen his pants. He steps on them when he pitches. He is the classic black pitcher who is more concerned with how he looks than his mechanics. He will be out of baseball in 3 years or less. Anyone who throws as hard as he can and falls off the mound after every pitch will not have a long career. Send him to A ball for a full year where he will ride the bus and have to carry his own bags and tell him that if you can't learn to throw strikes this is where you will stay maybe he will change.

"The Chad Bradford move was made mainly to save salary." And this is the same team that people expect to go after Mark Texiera!! Look for the O's to make a move for Lyle Overbey

Why do they even write articles to report "news" on AAAA League players like Cabrera and most of the Orioles pitching staff? Steele should be writing about cricket and water polo, sports that he can handle.

Korean import

It didn't expand his payroll nearly as much as Hunter and Teixeira, but Moreno said he approved another addition to the budget this week, a 20-year-old pitcher from Korea.

The Angels signed Pil Joon Jang, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound right-hander, to a bonus believed to be in the $550,000 range.

Oh look, other teams are signing Asian talent. How's that Oriole scouting department coming along? According to MacPhail, someone has been scouting Asia all year.

And since Syd Thrift said there was/were Asian scounts as far back as 2003, the O's must be itching to sign their first player from Asia......any day now......any day....

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Capricorn

You feel like overindulging yourself in some way today, and why not? Throw caution to the wind and eat your way through a big bar of chocolate, or have a retail therapy session that leaves you reeling from the amount of money you've spent. There's a definite chance you could get carried away and tell a whopper of a story that has little resemblance to what really happened. What on earth has got into you?
