"Of 94 career saves by Capps, he has 11 against AL teams."

C'mon, do a little research, K.S., before you put it in the headline.

Capps sure has some zip on the ball compared to Rausch. We've got a heckuva bullpen right now. I wouldn't mind seeing one more starting pitcher added, but there's not much left out there. Maybe a Jake Westbrook (CLE) or Jeremie Guthrie from the Orioles, but not sure they would be that much of an upgrade over Baker/Deunsing/Slowey.

Good win Twins, keep it rolling through the inevitable ChiSox decline....

Correct me if I'm wrong but... but I'm reading it's it's his first save "in" the American League... not against the American League.

"striking out Casey Kotchman for his first save as an American League pitcher."

Dude: You are the one who is incorrect, thus do your own homework...in the last 3 minutes..here is what is in his career log...
11 American league saves to date...2 versus the Royals this year in Interleague play alone...he has 5 total v KC, 2 v CHW, 1 v Det, 1 v Tor, 1 v TX, and now 1 v Sea...two Blown saves, both v Balt...and this welcome tidbit..he is 0-1 with a 3.91 ERA v NYY...no help there...
Still one hour to deal for Bret Myers who is the best pitcher on the Astros staff this year statistically..including Oswalt...he can be had for Slow/Burn and a prospect, though the Houston fans want Gibson or Sano....for Blackburn it is a return home and Myers blossomed down there after having struggles in Philly...his wipeout pitch is a filthy slider that is Lirianoesque from the right side...nice power pitcher.

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Libra

Going shopping today? Then don't be surprised if you splash out on items that are that little bit different from your usual purchases. For instance, if you set off for the supermarket you might end up buying lots of exotic ingredients so you can experiment with them. This is unlikely to get out of hand unless you're feeling bored or fed up, in which case you'll want to spend your way out of your current mood.
