Quickly, the Yankees need to go out and spend hundreds of millions of dollars on some more "overaged" pitchers whose Futures are clearly behind them.

Other than management, is there anyone who thought these has-beens would lead the team to success from last year's darkness?

Say goodbye to Mo, Father Time is calling him.

Remember that confidence of a 1 run lead in the 9th?

That is now gone for all Yankmee fans.

I think it's disgraceful how many fans were booing the Yankees last night. We not even 30 games into the season. Lighten up.

I know it is early but this GIRARDI and team needs some changes. Tomko is one answer and fool all you may we need a hitting and strong arm center fielder. We have a team that gives up a lot of stolen bases but returns none. They need 3 hits to score one run, it might be early but it doesn't look good for 2009.

A-Roid and his man-boobs are coming back today. Things will get better with drug-induced breasts in the clubhouse.

Oh yeah!

Lets keep saying its still early, or keep saying we have the most championships than anyone and it really doesn't matter that we continue to play bad

The beginning of the end--a long long draught is now upon us.

We are stuck with over-paid, lousy ballplayers. Cashman has to go.

Bring Joba to the pen.

I think the fans have every right to boo this team right now. They are not playing well at all. Besides Damon hitting homeruns (something odd with that btw) he is looking more jacked then ever! This team needs something. With the return of A-Rod, lets see what happens.
As for Mo, well it happens to the best of us. He is still a lights out closer, just not as strong as he used to be. Maybe he needs some more time to rehab that shoulder. Maybe go work it out on the 15 day DL in AAA.

Exactly, Brian Cashman should go to the Steinbrenners, and their "baseball people" and ask for another hundred million to spend on a few has been superstars. Perhaps they can even wrestle Manny away from the Dodgers. The suckers in the $2500 seats deserve no less. Cashman must have video of the Steinbrenners in compromising positions; otherwise he'd be gone long ago.

disgraceful? give me a break...
For what they are getting paid...cost of attending a game...fans should expect more. Like someone else was saying-this team has no hunger. Girardi has to go. If they play terrible on the road trip...he is a goner.

Just a question., what the Mets or their fans have to do with the Devil Rays beating the Yankees because Mo Rivera may not be 100% healthy?
And talking about Homosexuality., Is Jeter still playing for the Yankees?

You know whats disgraceful...

Watching the game last night on YES...
The network providing a poll for fans to vote on by text meassage...asking-"which of these four young players have a chance to be in the Hall of Fame?" There was not one Yankee on to choose from. They could of put Cano on the list.
When they do fire Girardi-I hope Michael Kay goes with him...

Cone is the best to listen to!

Trade Rivera now before his value plummets down to a bag of balls. Package him and Jeter for Hanley Ramirez.

Listen, I am a Met fan and a Yankee hater, but there is no classier, more down-to-earth or team-oriented player than Rivera. It's impossible to smear the guy, and he is the greatest closer of all time, no questions asked. No gyrations or chest pounding. Just a selfless guy who gets the job done. When we were trotting out the likes of Looper, Franco, Benitez and Wagner, he's been there every step of the way.
Hate the Yanks. Love Rivera.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Leo

Perhaps it's the fact that it's Christmas Eve and everyone is busy, but you can't help feeling that you're walking on eggshells around certain people. Their emotions are very close to the surface and could erupt at a moment's notice, perhaps in a storm of tears or a fit of pique. Calm them down and ask if you can do anything to help.
