Full story: Newsday

On a day the Mets were thrilled to see Brian Schneider hit like Darryl Strawberry , they were somewhat less enthused to watch Bobby Parnell pitch like Aaron Heilman.

I believe the Mets will be back 10 games by Aug 1..playing valiantly for awhile, but unable to sustain without help..the Mets burn while Omar watches..unwilling to ad payroll while charging $6 for a bottle of water..hopefully fans will stop attending the games, until Omar is replaced...sell, build for the future..this team as presently built will never win anything..

After Parnell's first game, the Met announcers were proclaiming him the "answer to all pitching woes", because he broke 100mph.

Yankee fans say the same thing about Joba.
*****
Remember...1 game, 1 series, even 1 season does not make a superstar in MLB. It only creates hype.

They ALL have potential, but very few become Superstars.

Omar must go..Bozo the Clown could have put a better team on the field for 150m..not to mention it's farm teams r ranked at the bottom of the heap..
A fan since the beginning, I'd rather watch re-runs of the 67 Mets..at least they had a future..this team as designed, is going no where fast..I have no idea why Omar still has a job..as comprised this team will NEVER win anything...rebuild!..I'd rather have a bad team for a few years that can eventually become great, rather than a mediocre team that wins 85 games every year..

The metinos will never win. The latinos are too busy proving manhood instead of playing team ball. The manager is a bill cosby wannabe. The gm looks like a plantation worker or pimp. The owners live in a brooklyn dodger fog. The 3rd baseman has to step up and stop talking like might mouse. have I missed anyone?

The Yankmee free fall continues! Now the Blimp is hurting too. They have no outfield, no bullpen, can't stop the running game, JoBug, Wang, and Andy heading south, and now C.C. joins the list! Who's next, D.L. Burnett? Yankmees folding like it's laundry night in the Bronx! Too funny.
