Been a Philly fan for so long and came to realize that the bottom of the heap is the position that organization is so comfortable with. Isn't it typical, the manager of the Tigers wanted the Phillies job so badly that he went to the Philly GM to ask for an interview. Our guy must have known something. Leyland took the once hapless Tigers to an American League pennant last year. It has become clear why the Phillies turned him down. He was a winner everywhere he managed.God forbid we bring a winner to Philadelphia. Ruin our image as the losingest organization in pro sports ? After all these years, certainly wouldn't stand for that.

I can't figure out how basically the same team that just missed the wild card, now is the worst team in baseball. The sad part is, i had to leave my house during the 8th inning last night (when it was still 1-0) and deep-down I somehow knew they were going to lose. it's like they want to get into the 10th and blow it.

MY PHILLIES ARE CLOSING IN ON 10,000 LOSES(THE MOST IN THE HISTORY OF PROFESSIONAL SPORTS) SINCE THEY WERE BORN ON MAY 1,1883 BUT I STILL BELIEVE THAT THIS WILL BE THE YEAR THEY GO ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!
