This is one of the greatest things that has happened in my life. I am 60 years old and a lifetime Giants fan. My Father was from New York and he was a Giants fan. He even played some high school baseball games in the Polo Grounds. I was 4 years old when the Giants beat the Indians 4-0 in the 1954 world series, I dont remember that. I do remember having the Yankees break a 12 year olds heart in 1962. Willie McCovey has his revenge finally. I live in southern California and it is difficult to see the Giants at home. I have gone to Dodger Stadium when my boys were young, 1993 and saw Bonds and Will the thrill Clark and Matty Williams beat the Dodgers. we won and we got out of that staduim alive. we have seen the Giants in Anaheim and in Chicago in Wrigley field. I wish I had been at the celebration, I was there in spirit and so was my son and my Father. We are so happy for all the Giant family and all the players now and from the past. it is redemption for sad times past. we are champions, no one can take that away from us. GO GIANTS forever!!!
