Steroid-accused Bonds in denial

I wish the column of Mark Purdy would speak out to all the baseball teams that will face Bonds and say, we will not be an accomplice with you to break any records, therefore we will walk you everytime you come to bat. Since you made your decision to use chemicals and cheat as the hulk, we will wipe that smirk off your face before you hit any baseballs in this league again. The owners of all teams have joined together to bring dicipline to the game, players and ego-primadonas, and want our fans to know for sure, we do not approve of you.

I have read every local column about the Bonds charade, and not one writer,fan or expert has offered a suggestion as to how we can stop Bonds from breaking the Bambino's or Aaron's record. Does anyone really today, except the old ball fans, want to see it stopped. Well, if the mercury news wants to write another outstanding story of in-justice, before they bite the dust like Barry, write this story of how all the majors joined together and, " WALKED BARRY", everytime he came to bat for the whole year of 2006.Tell us "WHY NOT".

Your Bambino shoudn't have any records. It's pre- 47 talk about cheating. So why should we use those numbers.

they choked because barry needed dope and his dealer demanded 2 million dollars for a special shot that barry needed to keep going and he didnt pay the dealer so they choked in that dusty baker world series. some say dusty baker got him started on the dope.

I allways wondered back in the 90's how many HR's a ballplayer could hit if they took roids. My college roommate and I would often discuss it. Thanks to Bonds, Big Mac and Sammy now we know. It does amaze me though when listening to some sport shows and highlights from last year they often would play the highlights of Bonds quest to pass Ruth and Aaron and how excited they were. Despite the knowledge that Bonds is a self admitted steroid user, Grand Jury testimony, sports talks show hosts celebrate every homerun he hits. It is time for the baseball fan base to let major league baseball know that Bonds, McGuire, Sosa, Giambia, Sheffield, and others are all frauds and there stats should be wiped clean. Of course this will never happen.

I don't have a problem as long as it's not just Bonds. Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio, Jim Thome, Mike Piazza, Roger Clemens, Randy Johnson, John Damon among many others did steroids. It's either everybody or nobody or it won't be fair.

Barry needs to retire from the game. We all think so:

Barry is just an all around cheater. The roids got to his head, he should be kicked out of baseball and chargerd for perjury once the truth comes out. I am glad he hasn't hit a homerun this year, as the saying in basketball goes, "ball don't lie."

Barry Bonds has not performed like he has last year thats what happends when you stop using steriods.

It's amazing how many people can convict a man of something that there is NO proof of. Hey, heres an idea for all the Bonds haters, since we love to convict people without proof, hmm, what if Ruth cheated somehow. Just like Bonds, hey he was never proven to be a cheater, but maybe if one person says it, then it will catch fire like the Bonds bull anyway. Hell, while we are at it, let's go ahead and say that Bonds killed Kennedy too, he was shooting up on 'roids while standing on the grassy knoll. Oh, and by the was, anyone who has actually tried to hit a baseball on ANY level knows that the hardest part of getting a home run, much less a hit, is TIMING, and hand/eye coordination. Wow! What a concept, somebody call CNN! Oh, one last thing, for arguments sake, let's say the man is shooting up, OMG, he is the only one in the history of baseball to ever do it by all means. Never would hear any of this unless the record is involved, which, unless you're an idiot, is not a valid reason to persecute the man. Get a damn like, people.
