Mora says resurgence not connected to critics

Full story: Baltimore Sun

He wasn't aware of the mounting opinion that he is on the downside of his career and no longer was a productive middle of the lineup hitter.

You can tell what an egotistical pr*** Mora is.He thinks he's great I still think your lazy a** approach to the game is why you"re the team cancer. Your play last night showed the true side. So you had 8 RBI's in two games big deal. If someone did the research I"m sure they would find you among the leaders im runners LOB. do Baltimore a favor and retire now.

They should have left this clown in Florida when the team came north. Is his contract up this year?

Yeah I'm sure he leads the league in runners LOB while hitting .380 with RISP. Make fun of his running and fielding mental errors but go somewhere else if you want challenge his hitting with guys on base.

"I don't have nothing to prove, I've done my job"??!! Wow, I wish I had that kind of job security. He does realize he is 36 right and at the end of his career? Ahh yes, his pockets were lined years ago and he and his brood can live off it for years as long as he doesn't blow it. He could even have another 6 kids.

MM is a hell of a player. He goofs sometimes in the field, but he also makes many great plays out there and nobody can hit like him with guys on. I don't get the hatred.

We should call him Clank the second.
Because he evidently got his glove in a junkyard.
To bad has hasn't had a resurgence in the field.

If you can slam Melvin Mora during a serious hitting streak, what are you guys going to say if he wins the O's rbi title AND the homerun title?

Go Melvin!

Dream on, this clown is a butcher with a glove and the worst base runner on the team.Without a doubt the most overpaid guy on the team and one more reason for Pete to shy away from signing a big name bat in free agency.

Yeah, I'd rather have a guy like Fahey who can fly from first to third but is in danger of breaking his skinny arms when he swings at a fastball than Mora's 75+ RBI's so far this year... please get REAL!(He does stink at running the bases though)

Go O's thinks .380 is good that means .620 he is a FAILURE. Not to mention his mental game is straight from the cuckoos nest.

Who the hell mention Fahey? I said Mora is overpaid and a butcher with the glove. In addition he has had three sub par years with the bat. Think the guy might be trying for an extension with this sudden surge. He's a knucklehead with an attitude and it's time for him to move on.Let Huff play third next year while we bring Rowell along or sign a free agent. No more Melvin.

Just saw the game tonight here in Cleveland. Melvin hit into a critical DP to end the last rally, and had 2 critical errors that led to runs, not to mention other instances of poor fielding. I was shocked at how badly he played at third tonight.

Like it or not he is the best OFFENSIVE third baseman on the team. Don't bring up Huff because you will post twice as much next year about how much he is killing us in the field if they put him at third full time, which won't happen. Fahey was an example of who the options are (not a lot). BTW Mora is pretty good with the glove he just can't throw for S**T!

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Taurus

The sad fact is that a certain person isn't making much sense right now. They seem to be talking nonsense, or maybe they've got the wrong end of the stick but are hanging on to it for grim death and refuse to let you correct them. Mind you, there's also the possibility that you're the one who has got themselves in a muddle but doesn't realize it. Scary!
