The Rangers have plenty of Offense... but our local boy from here in Hudson, NC had too much smoke for them to handle.

Go Madison!!!
Idiot.
When your clean up hitter only goes one for sixteen because he swings at everything, high, low, outside, ANY BODY west of Holland's gonna beat the Rangers. You f###ng Moron.

The Rangers suddenly have NO OFFENSE.
And, it's because Vlad Guerroro not hitting a whiff with f###ng base runners all over the south west states. This also brings down Hamilton because Josh ain't getting no protection.
The way the baseball season is ending is quite sad because the AL is clearly the superior league.
The Rangers lack of offense is much more than Vlad's failures. Hamilton batted .100, Andrus batted .176, Kinsler .188, Molina .182. They were outscored, outhit, and outpitched....thoroughly beaten and outclassed.

Maybe the AL is a bit better overall, when you factor all the teams and interleague play, but the top two NL teams (Giants and Phils) are simply better than the top two AL teams (Rangers and Yankees).

To drag politics or religion into Sports is pathetic.
And it makes you no better than Josh Hamilton or the Dallas papers.
If the Giants fans are behaving in a way that is descriptive or representative of 'dope smoking hippies' then the reporters stated it as it seemed apparent. If not, then the reporters were inaccuratetly biased. But, why should MSM bias come as any surprise to you, now? And especially regarding 'sports'.
If you are going to be concerned with politics, that is when you need to hold the MSM accountable for its extreme bias.
But it is understandable how you can take issue with such remarks.
And the mere fact that you pointed out "former meth-head, now Christian evangelist" exhibits your bias towards a person of a religious faith, or of that religious faith.
And that too is being just as judgemental as the Dallas paper and Josh Hamilton. Doesn't appear as though people can enjoy much these days without it being at the expense of besmeerching others.
In one way or another. Enjoy the Series.

"apparent"? The journalist's job is to report facts, not hyperbolic and bigoted statements by a former Meth head, now hypocritical Christian evangelist. That's not bringining politics into it, it's responding to Hamilton, who by the way IS a former meth head and is now a Christian evalngelist (google it). Hamilton and the Dallas news besmirched all of SF Bay Area. AND NOW THEY ARE LOSERS.

I can't fault Hamilton for commenting on the smell of pot, as he is a recovering substance abuser and is more sensitive about it than others are. It was more an observation on his part than a slam. The Giants would love to have him on their team.

As far as the Dallas press goes, they are only reporting what is obvious to the world - SF is all about cutting edge, avant-garde, melting pot, artists, freaks, and progressive ideals. Dallas is middle America, big oil, cattle ranchers, straight-laced, Bush family bible-belters. Neither one is necessarily superior to the other, just different.

The bottom line is Dallas has no World Series ring and San Francisco does. Oh, and the Cowboys are 1-6 with a broken quarterback. Now THAT is something to rub in their faces.

Journalism is a long way from home with regard to reporting facts.
Especially the liberal main stream. And most of the news is liberally biased. So, maybe that is the real 'shocker'.
That liberals should make an apparent 'bigoted' statement about a community that is extremely on the left of liberal. Though Dallas is less liberal, more conservative doesn't mean their editorial staff is. "Former" is the quantifying word here. Just because he once did meth, and now is a Christian, cleaning up his life doesn't make him a hypocrite. Good for him to turn his life around. Whether the statement was 'bigoted' I couldn't say.
I wasn't among the crowd.
The Texas Rangers GM also besmeerched the Yankee fans by stating they were: "Rude, apathetic and embarassing".
And now THEY lost. I wouldn't lose any sleep over any of it.
Celebrate your teams win!
