I do not understand how Torre could sit Pierre. Its been obviousl since Torre came over that he had no affection for Pierre as his style does not revolve around the running game, even though when healthy he is a .300 avg/ 200 hits per season player and there have been trade rumors since last year. Kemp or Ethier could pickup games at first and Loney could sit. They have options beyond sitting Pierre outright except for a sympathy lay twice a week. I honestly expect Pierre to be traded shortly after the All-Star break. Either way, its embarrassing. He's 9th in the league in batting average, 2nd in stolen bases, and 17th in the league in on-base percentage, the only percentage stat that really counts (and higher than any other Dodger teammate). And the more i write, the more it pisses me off because i run adult ball teams with exminor leaguers and i can say i kind of know what i'm talking about. Why would you bench the guy who gets on base the most ? RETARDED.

Juan deserves the best. If that means trading him so he can play, more power.
