Andruw Jones gets chance to play

Help me !!!!!!! What is it that Torre doesn't understand ???? quit trying to shove Andruw Jones down the Dodger fan throats !!!!! in spite of Torre the Dodgers are in a pennant race.......put Kemp back to lead off hitter, that should fix his minor slump

Let Andruw finish the season on the bench. Don't put him on the post-season roster. Cut him in training camp next year and take the $9 million hit. He's done.

I agree with the above comments. What is the thought process that resulted in this decision? "The Dodgers are scoring a ton of runs, winning and in 1st place. Quick! We have to do something. Let's put AJ back in there. We can't spoil our fans by being successful!" Friggin' ridiculous.

I couldn't agree more with all of you! He need's to play left bench!!! We need to keep the healthy guys in there like Kemp, Either, and Ramirez. They have been consistent in hits.
GO DODGERS!!! 16 IS OUR MAGIC NUMBER!!!

Just another thought. If Matt Kemp needs a rest, and we all do from time to time, Juan Pierre is a much better option and had performed well in his role this year. He's been a real team player.

Totally agree with W.V. Dave.....Pierre is a lead off hitter.....let him play when the opportunity allows it !!!!!

Jones made a nice catch in center last night....Get rid of Jones and sell the Dodgers to someone who understands baseball...is Peter still available?

If Andruw Jones can help Joe Torre with the remaining 17 games left, so be it. But as soon as Jones goes 0 for 3 at the plate, bench him for the rest of the season, flat out. Jones better produce, like he's never produced before. The Dodger's have the leed in the division, they need to keep it there.

Thanks to S.F. Ned it's $18 mil., not $9 mil. They aren't going to eat that much salary. So enjoy seeing fat boy the rest of this season and next.

DR, good to hear from you!! Yeah DR, your poor D-Backs are, well,.. doing poorly at the moment. I'm sorry. But I have selfish reasons for wanting the Dodgers to succeed this year. Andrew Jones is a very good player and he needs to get his stuff together an get back on the field and pla ball like he know how LETS GO ANDREW!!!!!!!!!!
