I'm sorry Phil Rogers, but saying "but (Tyler) Flowers looks like a future All-Star." is flat out stupid.
A .280 BA in AA ball? How about the fact that he strikes out 31% of the time against AA pitching? Or how about the fact that he is a 6'5 catcher with a recently rebuilt knee? Most scouts agree that his best position defensively is as a DH?? Or how about the drug suspension? Steroids? Phil, I challenge you to find a single scout in this entire country that supports your position with regards to Flowers.
Phil, the second you start taking player development tips from Hawk Harrelson is the second you need to find something you don't do half As sed. Can you think of any individual of the entire planet less objective than Ken Harrelson when it comes to the Sox? I hope whatever you had to do yesterday that caused you to "mail it in" with this article was worth it.

Fastest leadoff duo in the MLB? Is this a joke? Please compare these speedsters stolen bases to Upton and Crawford

First of all Phil Rodgers is a complete dufus, if that is even a word but it should be in his case. He looks like a tranny doesn't he? Not that there is anything wrong with that. Secondly Flowers place on the roster will be as either a repalcement for Konerko at 1st or Thome at DH. It won't be behind the plate. His bat is what he brings to the table not defense. I look forward to seeing what he can do because what other options do I have? As for the drug aspect at this point who cares? We have to assume they have all been tainted across both leagues. When there is that much money at stake it would be foolish to think otherwise no matter who we are talking about.

The Cubs didn't make Barrett the bad guy. He was a terrible catcher plain and simple and needed to be traded - period. Phil if you really thought this, write this garbage during the 07 season and not 2 seasons later.

Miss Vazquez? For his 93 MPH fireball? For his 5 inning shutouts? For his ridiculous salary? For his non chalant attitude after he just allowed the big 6th inning rally and walked off the field to the showers?

No I dont think so. Maybe if he had used his change up curve more, there would be more to miss.

No need to reply the damage was done, just sit back and enjoy the burn like a shewoman. After all you set the line up perfectly. Were you in vaudville?

I don't think I set anything up...
Clearly, you must be familiar with the look of a tranny to point it out...

That was weaker than a Tim Wakefield fast ball. You have absolutley zero wit, creativity or insight and are a terrible excuse for a writer.
