White Sox fall 8-2 to Blue Jays, Halladay

This 09 edition looks more like just a bad ball club rather than a team on a slump. Tired of seeing men on in scoring position for Sox & they are left stranded. Lillibridge,Fields,Miller to name a trio who look like they don't even belong in big leagues.They swing at everything! Walker has to go,no way year after year we should be writing about sox lack of clutch or no fundamentals. Possibly the blizzard needs to go ,his run may of come to a end. Pitching is a problem also but when you don't score you could have five Cy Young's on your staff your gonna lose. I guess the only positive thing is Sox are in a division they could still win if they ever would get it together. But doubt with current roster & management this club will be contending.

Dont know what is going on but this team is all around not good.

Outscored 18-6 in Toronto, 45-21 over the last nine games, dead last in the American League in runs scored (middle-of-the-pact in pitching). Several players (Fields, Ramirez, Getz, Wise, Owens) doing absolutely zero on offense.

Barring a fast turnaround, it looks like the cellar. After a nice run from 2000-2008,if this doesn't quickly reverse, trade the big guys in July and let's start fresh.

It's time to fire Kenny Williams.
I know there are some suckers who think bringing in a ton of home run hitters who can't play any D is brilliant and support him every year as he brings them in, but I find it impossible to believe that anyone who could tell the difference between Josh Fields and a good player think that he is any good at his job.
High payrolls, horrible farm systems and bad teams get people fired everywhere except the south side. It has to stop before the Sox become Pirates ( I know, it would be an improvement over this years team).

Agree 100% with Pablo's comments from a city not far me.Sox 09 edition just seem like they have no heart at all. Time to start showing a few players ,coaches & probably the blizzard the door. Give it up man. You have a better chance of George W. Bush being charged with war crimes or the Cubs winning a World Series than you do of Jerry Reinsdorf firing his boy over cutting payroll.

Dixon couple jailed for murder of friend

A Dixon couple is in jail charged with the beating murder of their friend. Dixon city Marshall Cliffty Yoakum tells KRCG 27 year-old Robert Fortner and 17 year-old Ashley Gilbert confessed to beating 49 year-old David Blankenship at his Dixon home on North Ellen Street early Sunday morning.
