Stealing is wrong no matter how you look at it. Although Derek is my favorite ball player since "the Mick" I think he is still in the wrong.He has enough money he could have bought the sign.If it were an ordinary person they would be in jail by now. Does this mean I think less of him? No. It makes me realize he is human.

I think the organization let him do it, I mean come on, this is their hardest working and franchise player. So I believe the YANKEES somehow let him take the sign otherwise they would have stripped him of the sign.
