I don't think the Cubs were really interested in Jeff Peavy (player mentioned in first sentence) Come on Dave Van Dyck, how could you mess this one up, maybe re-read before you post. It's not like there even is a Jeff Peavy pitcher. This is not a Rick/Paul Reuschel or Greg Mike Maddux here. Basically we have up Pie/Cedeno for another Matt Karchner type pitcher
