Full story: Chicago Tribune

After Alfonso Soriano served his two days in the Cubs ' penance box for failing to hit, it's now apparently Milton Bradley's turn.

Cleared his mind? Too bad it didn't wake up his bat and his glove instead! How about a vacation for the rest of this lost season, since it appears he's already on one.

I wish the Jimmy "Turtle neck" Hendry could get rid of all this losers of Bradley, Soriano, Fukudome, Miles, Fontenot, Theriot, Heilman, Gregg and Harden, Including Hendry.

I got my mind right, boss.

Hey, I've got an idea. The Twins are said to be shopping Delmon Young. If the Cubs picked him up, they could have an outfield of all psychopaths. How cool would that be?

They've already got Captain Ahab (Lou) at the helm. Maybe they could pick up Jimmy Piersall for the booth. And when Big Z pitches, bring in Ted Kaczynski to sing "Take me out to the ballgame" in the 7th.

If you've gotta be crazy to be a Cub fan, maybe you should be crazy to be a Cub.

Oh, now don't cry...

HEY CUBS, IS TOO LATE TO SIGN LEON "BULL" DURHAM, JODY DAVIS OR ANDRE DAWSON, MAYBE ANY OF THESE RELICS WOULD BE BETTER THAN THE PATHETIC ROSTER YOU HAVE NOW.

Two words for Soriano: Go Away. I don't care where or how but just go away. Leave and go choke for another team. Huge waste of money. Go anywhere else. Don't clear out your mind Soriano, clear out your locker. You disgrace that uniform. I hope you never play another game for the Cubs - ever.

The BAD NEWS BEARS, now there's a team that brings back memories. They ended up winners in that movie, didn't they? So, not a good parallel for the Cubs.

Funny you never hear that Pujols, Ludwig & Company have to be put out to pasture for a few games to have their heads "cleared." They generally do the "clearing" - of runners on base ahead of them.

Man up, Lou! Give Soriano what he deserves--MORE time on the bench and getting traded or sent down until he can play his position and hit the ball!

Yeah... that benching really cleared Soriano's head. Otherwise, he never would have had the awareness to throw out the runner at second after he dropped the fairly easy fly ball!! GREAT JOB!

LOL!!! GO CARDINALS!

How about Alfonso "Hippity-hop, Fly-Ball drop" Soriano to the Blue Jays for Vernon Wells. Their contracts match-up pretty well, and Wells can't be that bad, can he?

Yeah, he may be a bum and this team may suck but with all that said your shitty cardinals are only 4.5 games in front of the underachieving cubs. I know the Cubs are not what they were last year and they may be a joke this year but the real joke is your team is good and only has a 4.5 game lead over our debacle. It may be funny now, but it is a long season and anything can happen and don't worry I will be watching and reminding you the rest of the way!
I just wish the Cubs could be such an epic organization like the St. Louis Rams!!!!
P.S. Loser Cardinal Fans are not welcome here and it shows your loser ass has nothing better to do!!!

Sends Bradley and Sorryano down to Triple A for 10 days... If they are hitting over 300 they get to come back if not leave them down there for another 10 days if they aren't hitting 300 another 10 days and so on.....
You guys who want to get rid of Sorryano... Who would take him...
If you asked for a bag of balls and you picked of 17 of the 18 million you still wouldn't get any takers!

Daily Horoscope for November 8

Capricorn

Your mood can become a bit intense as the tempestuous Moon enters your eighth house of sex, money and power. Try not to become embroiled in any money fights today; chances are good you've missed something in your own calculations. Some of you may be dealing with issues of life and death, such as witnessing the physical and mental deterioration of loved ones . Try to find the beauty in the cycle of life rather than the horror.
