Canton angry about school

Big dogs do the trick - for some reason the little darlings are scared to death of them. They cross the street to avoid me - just the way I like it.

Beware this is what these kids do from Canton School.run atop residents cars.Throw rocks at people,litter,steal flowers,flags,bikes,scooters ect..run in bars and throw rocks at the people,try to open your front doors,spit at you,curse at you,break bottles and chase you with them,stop in the middle of the street on a green light and look in your face and laugh until the light turns red,kick at your dogs through the fence,knock your trash cans over,turn your water spout on.I could go on and on but I hope you get the point as to why we want this school closed down as we were promised.City Officals are nothing but corrupt liars.Canton student are nothing but ignorance.

We used to have a great after school reck at Canton Middle.Well you can guess what happened to that after these thugs were bussed to our School.What ever happened to these thugs getting bussed right from the School.At least then they didn't get the chance to ruin the neighborhood.Now they cause problems from Canton to Brewers Hill to Eastern Ave to Lombard St.were the bus picks them up.Having a School in the neighborhood is not a bad thing.It's the bad thugs they send to the School.

Hey what about the elderly lady from Knotty Pine that got her head busted open from the Canton School thugs that throw a huge rock at her.Oh yeah and the other elderly lady that had to shut her store down from 8:00 until 9:00am and then close again from 2:30-3:30pm b/c the Canton School thugs were stealing her blind.Then there is the elderly lady that had cancer of the eye that was sitting on her stoop only to be taunted by about6 Canton School Thugs.Now how sad is that.

As families,our lives tend to reflect what we value the most.Our values shape our everyday lives and what we choose to do with our time.The first and most important things in life is our children.If we instill these values in our children they will make somthing decent out of their life.Thats a great lesson for the Canton students parents.STOP TEACHING YOUR CHILREN IGNORANCE.It is you who are ruining their future.Volunteer at your childs school and help them become a good student just by being there will make a difference.We know you don't work and you can bring your chicken box and juice.Can you at least collect box tops/campbell's labels for education.Do somehing for your kids to make a positive change in their life and your.It an be done,you just hve to want to do it.Sleep at nght when yor suppose to and spend your days at school.Become a part of the school team.It's really a great feeling.Help your kid needs you.

Interesting how Tonia, marie, lisa, sosad, flip flop, Russel, robert, and teachers aide all use "differents" in place of the word "difference" and don't hit the space bar after punctuation. Did they all go to Canton Middle School?

Glad to see people's true colors come out here. References to thugs, illegal immigrants and a whole lot of other stuff that gets to the heart of the matter.

Canton residents wanted a gated community. Sorry, that's life in the real city. As a fellow city resident and someone who has worked in the system (BCPSS) for 15 years and is now starting a school I am ashamed of you. I would give my left leg to have Friendship start a school where I live. What are families supposed to do when their kids turn school age if no one is willing to start high quality schools.
And for those who think that it doesn't matter who runs the school since the kids are going to be the same, take a look at some of the small/charter schools and the difference they have made to kids, families and communities. For shame.

Remember, these are 12 year olds, not adults. If someone commits a crime call the police. If the police don't respond call city council. I am not sure how its the schools fault that a few kids break the law after or before school.

Mr. Kraft should be supporting this since in the long term a successful school is far better than another empty building. Or is the hidden (not so hidden) agenda just to open up this building for more unsold condos? Hmmm, one has to wonder.

Your attempt to insult someone has been thwarted by your own language shortcomings.

I understand the concerns of the residents who live in Canton. I encourage them to meet with representitives from Friendship and actually go to the Friendship school in Washington DC and observe the behavior of the children there. See first hand what they have accomplished and what they can do for the kids in our area. If you think that closing Canton is going to take care of the problems you have with kids, I don't think so. We all need to come togehter and change things so these kids can change instead of pushing them through the system to send them to Patterson High School so the problem then become that communities problem.

well i feel ok with the changes they makeing but......the peopel that live near canton is blameing us for wat other people doing .dont get me wrong it can be students from canton doing things..but its more of the adults that make us want to act how they say we act.for enstance they cuss us out..call us names .say we did something to their car or house when it be a diffrent school...i had someone cuss me out when i didnt even do nothing to them.com muity act as if we nuthing but a bunch of irrate kids that was rasie with no respect..just cause one kid mess it up for all of us.like they say dont juge a book by its cover....thats wat they doing juss cause we go to canton middle dont mean we are one of them students that dont no how to act.......so all am asking is to give us a chance..keke
