I think Terrell Suggs should put a bounty out on him. That should do the trick.

Loewen wasn't claimed by Toronto on waivers, which means he had already cleared waivers and been released. He mislead the Orioles orginization and used their coaches and facilities even though he technically had no contract or right to do so.They allowed him that privelege believing he was going to sign a minor league contract with them.Hence the betrayalWhile there is certainly plenty of blame to be laid at the feet of the Orioles owner and his minions, this is not one of them.I for one, hope his major league baseball career is finished and that he never steps foot on a major league field again unless he's a groundskeeper or ball boy.Minnesota and Tampa Bay and Milwaukee and Philadelphia have all proven you can win with a mid major league city. It's not the city it's the owner. That's all that needs to be said.No change in ownership,no change in losing. That's called being a realist, not negativity. Burt you MORON, you talk about other peoples spelling and you cant spell PRIVILEGE or ORGANIZATION....LOL. You must have went to DUMBWOOD HIGH SCHOOL ! man stay off the post if you dont know what your doing !as for Adam I hope he kissed Andy on the way out because he sure bent him over. I say the next time he comes to bat(if ever) you throw the first pitch right at his head, another loser who screwed the O`s for millions and ran...see Gibbons, Belle etc.

Probably, maybe hopefully, a blessing in disguise. His chances of making it as a position player are minimal, so it's best not to waste any time on him. On the other hand, if they thought he really had a chance they should have protected him as there aren't all that many players on their roster that are all that good. Danys Baez .. yeah, let's protect him! Worse yet, he comes back as a quality pitcher and makes us the laughing stock of the AL East once again. There has to be a glass half full somewhere in this story!

One final point. When I look at the teams in the world series and compare our position players to phillies and the rays, the O's compare favorable with those teams. If even half of our pitching propospects turn into decent major leaguers, the O's can be competitive. It not a stretch that we will be competitive in 2010. Just need to keep adding solid pieces and really work to develop our young pitchers.

If basing the fact on where players wanna play based on the stadium, I agree the Skydome/Rogers Centre is sh*t. But then every player should wanna play in Boston, Houston, San Diego or San Fran.

AngelOs wrote: You blew your arm out and had to get extensive medical attention and rehabilitation and we held your spot in the rotation. How could you guys not hold his spot in the rotation? He was still one of your top 5 pitchers with his elbow in pieces. All humour aside, you guys need to have a revolt or put a hit out on Angelos, the guy is burying your franchise. But I know I don't need to tell any of you that.

Danny wrote: I understand why he wouldn't want to sign with this organization. But, obviously there was talk and agreements that took place before the O's released him. No one knows what was said during those conversations, but I am sure that Loewen never said that I want to play for Toronto. It will be interesting to see if he plays against the O's in ST if a pitcher loses one or two up and in on him. It'd be a shame to have Brandon League lose one up and in on Markakis with some 100 MPH heat....not only would you have no good pitchers, but you'd have lost your only good, half season hitter.

BLB wrote: Toronto and Cito showed their lack of class by getting involved in the resigning process. It would be poetic justice if Adam breaks his elbow and can never play again and milks the Blue Jays like he did the O's. So I guess by your thoughts we should've not shown interest because you guys opted to release him and just let you guys resign him eh? You'd be a great business man. Kinda sounds like all the whiners that have lost or are losing their houses to foreclosure. Always pointing the finger at someone else. What a joke Americans are. Good luck living in a gutter.

Hey JTK,now that was a funny post! As for Pittsburgh sux,I'll cut you some slack because you agree Pittsburgh sucks, but hey I can spell,I just can't frigging type, lol.I think I need a voice dictator or something, lol. But I think you missed the more obvious points I was trying to make.I'm talking about more egregious errors, not a missed keystroke here or there.Speaking of strokes, how's your hand doing?Heard it was overworked, lol.

Walt: I agree 100%, and for those of you who keep defending Mussina go join a Yankees blog. Loewen and Mussina are both traitors. If you recall, the O's tried to deal Mussina at the trade deadline for prospects because they knew that they were not going to compete with the money out there from other clubs but he vetoed any trades. If he knew he wasn't going to resign, he could of at least helped out his club through prospects. Where was the loyality? Maybe he could of even got a world series ring that year because he hasn't gotten one yet.

You're a "good fan" and as such, you want to hate the best Oriole pitcher in the last three decades. My comments toward you had NOTHING to do with Mussina. Its your overall negativity and constant bashing. If you're that upset then feel free to contact MacPhail and Angelos and we both know that won't go far. For the life of me I don't get if you are or are not an O's fan......honestly I doubt you are but then again your diatribes are pointless. As I have stated before, your positions keep changing depending on who you wish to rebuke on here. I just don't see your point as it constantly changes depending on what the O's need to rebuild or regain their previous stature of a competitive organization.

Thanks for your concern, my hand is ok, after 15 minutes I have your wife take over with her mouth...lol, all kidding aside I got your points but I get tired of seeing these over paid millionaires showing their lack of loyalty when a team did everything and more for them and this is the thanks they get. Sports has really went downhill in the last 15-25 years.

the problem was you and I don't disagree at all sports wise, but be careful with the ex,the last I heard she had the clap at the very least,so if you're messing with her you better be careful. She is living up that way somewhere last I heard, something about a prostitution warrant from the county, but it could just be a rumor.
