It is now a crime for someone to lie on a job application in order to obtain footage of animal abuse at the scum hole farms & kill houses of Iowa. We will boycott your state, we will boycott all products made in your state, no matter what they are, we will use your own Nazi style tactics against you and we will make sure that everyone in America knows who you are & what you did. I don't support boycotting everything made in Iowa. That would hurt alot of Americans who had absolutely nothing to do with that bill, and maybe even fought against it.

I do support making their voices heard in the next election by throwing the supporters of the bill out of office, regardless of party.

If they weren't abusing animals, why would they need to worry about undercover video takers? What are they hiding? Just the fact that someone would introduce a bill like that tells me things ARE going on that they want to hide.

To be fair, when the ARA's do go in undercover and find an operation in which the employees do not participate in abuse or torture of animals, they should be open in reporting that, too. It would help the meateaters who do care about animal welfare make more informed decisions in their purchases.

Can any ARA posting here show a newsclipping of an ARA community going undercover, finding nothing, and giving the organizations or individual that was under investigation ANY kind of grade on their operation.

Repeated attempts asking Mamasita/Cayenne about what happens 'every' time an investigation occurs have gone unanswered. We have no idea of what the batting averages are of these various organizations...or what she has determined in her personal investigations of hunters here posting on this board.

This is the second time you made this claim this week. Is it true? Did she really have you guys investigated? I have a hard time believing she actually hired a PI to do this.

But I would like to know the findings of the other undercover investigations they had done. She pointed out the abuse at Smithfield, so I have bought more of my bacon from Thorn Apple Valley. How does TAV rate on the cruelty scale?

Should they make a law criminalizing photographers of child abuse? Would it be better to ensure people can easily abuse kids and never get caught or convicted? Why treat animals like garbage when they are no less alive than us?

this is a good example of what happens when big ag gets to make laws and set policy. It's a silly law... a felony for taking a picture of a farming operation? Gimme a break. It's obscene. All of the farmers I know would have no problem with you, Cayene, coming in and taking all of the pictures you wanted. It's the big operators and big ag that passed this b.s.

It's not bad for big ag.
For a while anyway.

There is accountability with the legislators. If they get reelected.... Then the people have spoken that they want more of the same. If not... They've been held accountable and rejected.

There is accountability with big ag if people stop consuming their products because they aren't forthcoming .

Unless you are paying attention to the whole story you only get the snippets that either side wants you to get.

For instance there are many people that won't do interviews with 60 minutes. There are those who have offered to do unedited sequential content but have been denied.
