Tom Brady and the Patriots seem to think they have it sewn up. They seem to have forgotten about about teams like the Saints and the Steelers. The Falcons look good this post season as well. Keep an eye on the Bears too. The Ravens are right in the mix again and are as likely to win the big one as any of the teams mentioned. The Ravens face KC this Sunday, the offense needs to control the ball and give the defense a break. I, for one, am looking forward to the playoffs with anticipation. KC is going down. GO RAVENS!

I can't seem to find anybody, anywhere, from the pats, making that statement. please supply a link, I would like to see that arrogance for myself.

I like the Ravens chances in this post season. They always seem to find a way to win when they need to. There are a bunch of teams this year with 10 or more wins, it should be interesting. As long as the professional football team from Indianapolis get's shut down, it's all good.

It would be nice to see them go all the way. Do you think Heep will be a factor in the playoffs? He has been on and off with injuries this year. Amen on the Indianapolis team!

this statement never came from Brady, or anybody in the pats organization. I'm sure they don't think they have it "sewn" up. to many good teams playing really good football to make a statement like that.
Glad you think that way. The Patriot fans will disagree. You're right, there are so many teams with good records, it's hard to pick a clear leader. It all starts Saturday, a whole new sudden death mini-season.

College ball is good too. I also follow local high school games. That's where you see the NFL stars of the future

Tell Brady and the Pats, you're not going to have any trouble convincing me. To me there is no "favorite" emerging from the regular season. There are a lot of teams in the playoffs who could easily go all the way. I'm pulling for the Ravens but they need to get their end game (4th qtr.) together.

Forget about college ball and future stars. This is the NFL playoffs and the Super Bowl! Why do you think they call it SUPER? Go Ravens!

I thought they called it the super bowl so they could charge more per ticket.
You have a point. Unless I win tickets in some contest I can't afford to go to the game. I've got a 47" flat screen TV in the basement, that's as good as it gets for the blue collar folks like me. I paid less for the TV than the cost of a ticket to the game. Crazy ain't it? On the up side, I can hoot and holler all I want and not get tossed out of my own basement and the beer in the fridge doesn't cost 10 bucks a cup (unless you're a Patriots fan, then it 20 bucks a cup). I'll let you know if I win one those contests, but I'm not holding my breath. Who do you think will be in the big game?

There are some good college championship games coming up too. This weekend is all NFL though. I hope the Indianapolis wann-a-bes get bumped out of the picture this evening.

Someone should check Lady Brady's qb rating for the last three games he has played the Raven's. Even though he won two of the games. His qb rating is 69. Last season, Ravens receiver drops what woud have been winning catch, this season, Cam sent the whole offense in its turtle shell and the Ravens lose in OT. They have Brady's number.

If I remember correctly, the Ravens won 33 t0 14 the last time they met in the playoffs. The Ravens need to focus on KC right now. In a sudden death playoff it's one game at a time. I'm sure the Saints didn't expect to go home losers tonight. It's the playoffs, anything can happen. If we're lucky the Indianapolis team will fall tonight.

Looks like the Jets will get first shot at the Pats next weekend. Go Jets!(I'd love to see anybody beat NE) The Saints and the Dolts were both favored going into the wild card round and they both got whipped. The Ravens are favored to win today in KC. I hope they were taking notes yesterday and resist the urge to look past KC. One game at a time.... if we win our season lives, if we lose it's over. Yesterday was a day of upsets, let's hope the Ravens keep it from being a weekend of upsets. GO RAVENS!

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Gemini

You're in a warm-hearted and generous mood today, especially when dealing with loved ones and members of the family. You want to give them as much of your time as possible, and also to do anything else that will keep them happy. The only snag will come if you're trying to spread yourself too thin and you end up making promises that will be difficult, if not impossible, to keep. You may forget all about them but other people won't.
