Iran is oppressing Azeries! Why did Iran invade the South Azerbaijan in the first place?

iran can't oppress azeris because the son can't oppress his mother and saying iran invaded south azerbaijan is like saying turkey invaded ankara, please don't make a fool of yourself and respect the other as they are respecting you.

all is fine but...azeri-turks don't have (it is prohibited for them,allowed to armenians)national schools in iran,we call it oppression

for your information the armenians in iran don't wear hijab in their areas , but it does not mean that iran oppress muslims because they have to wear hijab, also, azeri's in iran have schools ( when they want), in iran you can talk without fear at any lang. you want, finally as i noticed , the matter is that you hate iran ( from azerbaijan media , from western media, from.....) you are free to say i hate iran ( as many do ) but don't say the azerbaijani's ( as you are living in iran ) are oppressed , i visited iran many times, i knew many azeris there and non of them considering them self as separated community from the persian,they are patriotic for iran and its civilization and culture (which they are with no doubt inherited that as a true iranians), in fact, what i saw in iran i can't even dream in to be happend (in arab world for example), by the way do the taylish learn in their lang. in azerbaijan, whether they are learning or not , i can't allow my self to say , they are oppressed (as taylish),or they must separate from azerbaijan , because azerbaijan are their land from thousands of years.

in iran they oppress anybody who treatens mullah regime,it is not a special behaviour or treatment for azeris

for example when you call tebriz,you cant say "tebriz is a city in southern azerbaycan"

they will simply kill you for just that

we have close family friends from iran,they are azeri and they dont agree with you

burak, you say a close friends, i say ( and may allah be witness on what i saw there) i have many friends in 7 or 8 cities in iran ( azeri's) which they believe thay are iranian first ( strongly ), even if i joked with the name of persian gulf( naming it arabian gulf) they look at me with anger .

if you know one person or two it's not gonna change the subject, in each nation you will find the traitor , thief, criminals , but it's not gonna change the history , the culture , the blood which is iranian blood, so,i guarantee for you that you don't know anything inside iran.

yes in each nation u can find the traitor, but what if the majority of nation consists of traitors like iran... beleive me i live in Azerbaijan and i have loads of friends in many cities of Azerbaijan and Azeris here dislike iran and iranian regime.. we think of u as retarded mutants...

i write only my opinions,i cannot talk for all azeris.
iran does oppress muslims,bcz it is written in QUran ,every woman is free to wear or not hijab,man cannot oblige!even husband doesnot have this right,am i right?
azeris don't have national school,the majority wants it!you can find articles about it in this forum.

i live in Baku,Azerbaijan.i don't say iranian azeris are traitors of iran,they are citizen of iran,i am sure they will fight against enemies together with persians,like my relatives did it against german and japonic fascists,we azeris are not traitors,bcz we are turks,unlike armenians.

talish people is very small,but if one day they will want school in talish language,we say please.i know our georgians have school.
azeri turkish is common language for all peoples here(we don't use the term minority).
about oppression...if you come to Baku and ask to people,they would explain to you that talish opress others in Azerbaijan(i know it sounds very strange),it is true.
we had a separatist alikram humbatov,he is maybe in prison now or in holland with gays,the same thing we had in north with lezgi,bat it all was artificial.

there is a paranoya in iran that azerbaycan is in western coalition against iran and wants to influence azeris for against their regime,maybe trying to start a seperatist movement in iran

russia pumps this paranoya,it is an old trick but still works

I heard iran azeris are in different attitude of mind ,they are more religous then azerbaycan azeris but more open minded then rest of iran

i have never been to iran,i know only from others,that southern azeri women are very conservative than others,they cover all head,when other women in iran only pretend to cover.
i know that southern azeri men are very modern,more modern than ours here.
i think iranian people is not religious ,it is only "moda" ,like in ussr almost all people were communists.
i know the southerners are divided in 2 ,first want autonomy in iran,second want total freedom.
We citizens of Republic of Azerbaijan don't have any right to decide the future of our southern brothers. it is their internal affair. But i will be happy one day to see united Azerbaijan.
