hello, ive recently bought, a VW Golf Mk4 TDI T Reg 1999 90bhp, im not having any problems as such with it, the reason i bought it was because i was spending waaaay too much money opn the 2.0T Vauxhall Vectra i had before. and this is nice, with german quality too, i reason im posting today is i have a quick question regarding its preformance..now whether its just me getting used to the golf as it far less powered than my old vectra i dont know, but, does have 90bhp tdi tent to have a rather low accelaration? i mean taing about 12 seconds to get 45-50 miles per hour? and also, when i was on the motor way i was doing about 70mph, and i thought to myself *im gna speed up a bit and do some overtaking* and i pt my foot down, and i slowly climbed to 90, revs were still around the 35-38 area (nowhere near redline) and the car seemed to max out at 95ish. now i know im not supposed to speed yada yada yada. but is this somthing i should be concerned about? dad seems to think i should get it checked out while i still have the AA warrenty, either that or it might be governed or somthing..any ideas? thanks
