The toyota prius is the ugliest car.

I may look goofy, Ken, but I'm getting almost 50 mpg, how 'bout you? I think people spending all their money at the gas pump are pretty goofy.

You People do look goofy in those ugly little cars. There are good loking cars that gets just as good if not better gas milage, Why something so goofy looking.How about a chevy Cobolt? Have you checked out thier quality, Better than toyota.Ford focus? Better than toyota.Com e'on be american.

Ken, the cars you mention probably do look better. I don't know anything about them, but I'd like to know more about cars of the same size or larger than the Prius, which also have both the same or better mpg and environmental footprint.

I had a very sleek, eye-catching, very fast midnight blue BMW 330ci.....which got about 20 miles per gallon.

I sold it to buy the prius

It is not about the gas folks it is about the money the Element we traded in gets half the fuel ECONOMY as the Prius so we spend half as much in gas so for us it goes from 20mpgs at todays price to 44mpgs at tomorrows price whatever that will be

The VW Beetle was not beautiful, but it won the affection of generations because it filled a need for low maintenance, dependable, cheap transportation. It had no AC, by the way, (gasp) but was loved by multitudes. Prius owners feel the same way about their futuristic, high tech, vehicles. I predict they will get more plentiful as oil prices skyrocket. I really want a hybrid in a '57 Thunderbird body, but enjoy passing gas pumps in my Prius. It kicks gas.

Definitely a real stupid looking car.. No trend for saving gas or anything would make me stoop to buying something so ugly since the pacer.

They can't even go up 6% grades unless they slow to 30 mph.

PRIUS IS HELLA UGLY, 2009 model didn't changed much!it's nice with gas mileage. I would NOT buy this car!The GM volt is so much sexier.
