Does not figure getting less mileage in a toy car that cost 25 to 35,000.00.

I'm old enough to remember that too. Seems we're getting worse as time goes on. I'm glad i drive a Mini-Cooper!

And the big three??? They are too busy trying to figure out how they are gonna get rid of their fleet of soccer mom mobiles. Who is running the show with these companies anyway?

And the word from our president? "Americans might oughta conserve." HAHA Oh, hey.. that is a good idea. I was just asking myself this morning, "I wonder where all my money is going". How much time does he have left in office?

Whole world went in to direction of fuel inefficiency. And it is not due to worse engines. It is due to cars getting bigger and heavier with every new model for last 20 years.
Something similiar what was happening to cars 40 years ago before big oil crisis in 1970's. Now we are hitting the ultimate oil crisis - Oil Peak. Oil production is peaking and it will only go down, down and down, while demmand for oil is going up, up and up. And result is sky rocketing oil prices. Whole world has become addicted to drug called oil. We even wanted to dismantle alternative energy sources like nuclear power plants and make oil dependant power plants. That was the most stupid of all acts. |

1 You the Prius and Toyota suck..Maybe you have not driven a Ford lately, but the test show that Ford, Lincoln and Mercury have less repairs and out score Toyota. But you must be black and stupid, only becasue the way you spell Girl>>Gurl??. Screw you and Toyota.. |

2 My favorite cars that I have owned are Toyotas and Hondas. Very low maintenance, very dependable, saves money in the long run, so economical. You can drive them for MANY years without any major issues. I am afraid to buy a domestic car (except for my Chevy truck as a second vehicle) as my primary car because I don't want to risk having to pay high prices for repairs over and over again. |

1 If you are one of those Ford workers who is out of work, Toyota is a fantastic company to work for. |

No real man is buying that thing they call a truck. I would rather starve in the streets than work for them back stabing, dolphin killing dinks.. |

I want to hate the look of the Prius, but I can't. It reminds me of the Inspector Gadget mobile from the old 80's cartoon. The price *is* a bit too high though. If I'm shelling out $25K for a car, it better have some muscle under the hood. As for your acronym for Ford. That's actually a thing of the past. I've known a few people who've had Fords and never had trouble with them. Their overall quality has jumped up sharply in recent years. |

1 because the best way to make your point is to let the world know you are a racist redneck. The whole point is that unless you actually haul loads on a regular basis the only point of driving a truck is penis compensation. |

1 Tell us how you really feel. Better yet, don't. We don't care. You're obviously only trying to incite an argument. I had a '91 Carolla that was still running like a champ in '99 when I sold it. I got it from my mom when I graduated high school and took over the payments. I abused the hell out of that car. I think in the 3 years that *I* owned it, I only changed the oil once.....in 3 years. I drove it across the country (literally) and just abused the heck out of it in general and it still ran like a champ, had cold A/C and a nice stereo. I only sold it because I was leaving the continental US. |
