Has anyone else had their aux battery die on them during the first 31/2 years they owned their prius
My prius is a 2008 and the extended warrenty does not cover the aux battery it cost us $327.00 for replace the battery and pay for the tow to the dealership the day before Thanksgiving 2011
If anyone else has had this problem please let me know I think the paid for extended warrenty should have covered it

Have to read the fine print on the warranty. Not familiar with the aux battery on the Prius. I thought it was just a regular battery like all other cars have. If so, then you were overcharged,)no pun intended)

Did you throw away your Chevy Cavalier when the battery went?
I'll bet the battery outlasted the car, right?

My 2007 failed after 3 years 11 months. Replacement cost was $285 in Australia.
