I remember the accent used to be the most unreliable car ever created. My buddy had a 1995 and I swear the transmission pan was made from aluminum foil. These cars are the poster boys of unreliablity and I truly hope no one even bothers with this garbage.

Hyundai is OK, but it is starting to get a bit overrated. These new Accents and such are not even proven performers! All they have is a much nicer interior than the old Hyundais!

I own a 2008 accent, and before that a 2007 elantra. I love them both. They've come so far in such a short time. I get about 40 mpg on the highway in my accent, and 33 in the city. Rather than pay a couple thousand more for the same quality, reliability, and features, I will just stick with Hyundai and it's long warranty. If you slam Hyundai, you're probably the fool who's never owned one.

Not the same quality as other makes. These cars are worthless with resale in the garbage.

Im just wondering what your name means. Do you have an Audi RS4 or something? Or maybe an M3?

My wife's 2008 Accent has no squeaks, creaks or rattles. Honda Fit, Yaris, & Accent have the same width, but Accent has 1 to 3 inches more interior width than Yaris & a bit more than Fit.

The wife let me take Accent on 3 mountain day trips. Averaged 41.8 MPG over 4000 & 3000 foot mountain passes & really hot weather. Over 5500 foot Chinook Pass near Mount Rainier, Accent got 42+MPG, & over a 1400 foot mountain pass, Accent turned an excellent 45.1 MPG.

Running wonderfully, we expect Accent to be in our family well past 10 years. My 1988 Kia (Hyundai family-Ford Festiva) recently went over 11,000 feet of mountain passes, getting 50.8MPG. Expect Festiva to last another 10 years.

Relax. No one is going to bother with the garbage that's coming out of your mis-informed brain and mouth. 1995? Time to move on, or become a dinosaur.
