All the Chinese have to do is refrain from buying the bulk of treasuries for a week, and the Dow would start heading down every single day. If they decided to sell off treasuries, it would freeze the american economy, turning the dollar into worthless paper. Most americans have no idea that Clinton, Bush, and Congress have loaded a gun, given it to the Chinese, who now have it at our head. America runs at Chinese leisure. They can start extremely long soup lines here anytime they feel like it. That is why they laughed. Have you ever seen a Chinese fellow laughing hysterically?

Whatever your thoughts on Hummers, selling the company to the Chinese is just another nail in this countries financial coffin.

The Chinese own so much U.S. debt that it won't be long at all, before they start calling the shots.

The short term benefit of having the Peoples Republic bail us out, will make for major problems in the not so distant future.
