any ideas on the brakes (change master cyl to chevy dual cups with little mods )
It depends on which model of Rolls you have. The braking (and hydraulic) systems have changed a lot from model to model and even within the lifetime of a single model.
Eg. Early Silver Shadows were fitted with a small master cylinder tucked away in the 'rat trap' under the car level with the driver's seat. From around 1975/6 it was replaced with a pressure distribution valve which had springs to give the brake pedal some 'feel'.
Similarly there is a crude form of ABS in the same area which works by pushing a heavy steel ball up a slope so that it partially blocks off the flow of hydraulic fluid to the rear brakes. Obviously later cars were fitted with a more up-to-date form of ABS.
Although there may be some leeway as regards replacing the various components of the braking system (the early Shadow's master cylinder is best replaced with one from a Series 1 Land Rover) you have to bear in mind that you are working on a heavy car - over 2 tonnes - and the fitting of random parts just because you have them to hand could result in total brake failure followed by a road incident and possible injuries and/or loss of lives.
