Clarifications:
1. Concours may have generated $150,000 in the last 2 years, but it has yet to make a profit.

2. Proceeds going to The Carmel Foundation total about $15,000/year.

3. When Carmel Mayor Sue McCloud said the event was very walkable, this is typical do as I say, not as I do. She was seen being chaperoned around in a golf cart, only walking from the cart to the awards stand to give one award.

Next time The Herald quotes Carmel Mayor Sue McCloud, how about asking her some important questions and demanding answers first.
1. Is the city conducting an investigation into credible charges of sexual harassment, employment discrimination and retaliation by the city administrator, mayor and city council?

2. If not, why not?

3. What did the City do from May 2008 when she was notified by Jane Miller’s lawyer about her complaints to the present?

4. Does not a mayor’s obligation to her constituents include a more serious approach to the alleged complaints than “it’s nothing?”

5. If the city fails to conduct an investigation and a trial proves the charges true and she did nothing or tried to cover it up, will she resign for the good of her position?

Sorry to hear you are having such a bad day - but this isn't the place to air your complaints. This is an article about a Car Show - NOT about the City of Carmel.

Thanks to everyone involved in making the Concours on the Avenue such a fun event. That includes the Mayor and everyone else in Carmel. Congrats to the Carmel Foundation on receiving monies to use for the betterment of our seniors.

Hope next year the Concours goes back to 2 days - but I'll be there regardless.
