Porsche Boxster easy to operate, even easier to love

Yep, have owned 5 Porsches ('57 Speedster 1600N; 62 356 cabriolet; 67 912 Targa; 82 911 and lastly a 2002 Boxster S). The Boxster is by far the best Porsche I've owned, and surpasses the two Ferrari's I've owned (250GT; 330 GTE).

Porsche is overrated. Now my 1972 Pinto, now that was a car. 0 to 60 in under 3...hours. Handled like no car built since. I loved that car till it blew up after I got rear ended. Porsche, Jaguar. BMW, pffffffft. The pinto was THE CAR.

Those of us with real Porsche cars consider the Finnish made Boxter the "Porsche with panties" because it is a car suitable mostly for women.

Is the Porsche compensating for physical shortcomings?

It's like back in the '70s when I was driving a 911S and SC and they came out with the 914. In Europe it had Porsche on one side of the rear and Volkswagen on the other. Then they went to the 924 and 928, but the 911 is STILL around and the others are just bad nightmares.

It's for people who appreciate driving as more than just getting from one spot to another.

If you're a short bus driver, you shouldn't make fun of your
passengers, if they're disabled people, you might get in trouble.
