I recently bought a '92 Bravada that is having some problems which I think I can cure in time I just don't know much about these vehicles so I thought I'd ask people that would have a better working knowledge of this vehicle. So here we are. I believe the problem with the truck is in the fuel delivery system. near as I can tell there is no pressure on the system. Being a cpi it should have over 50 lbs. of pressure, or so the manual tells me. I bench tested the fuel pump and it seems to work fine. I have looked for a fuel pump relay and am unable to locate one. I did, however, encounter an unusual situation with an electrical unit mounted under the console. As soon as I removed the pump sending unit combo from the tank the unit under the console started to make noises. Not really steady cause it would go for short periods and not make any noise but pretty much consistantly active. Could this be the fuel pump relay that I couldn't find? If not then what is it? It is a small black plastic box and I thought it might be the ecm but according to the manual it's not that either. Any help here would be much appreciated, thanks, Joe
