Lars Upland, CA	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #1 Jul 15, 2008 I'm about to buy an SL55. I found a really clean 2003 with 28K miles on it and I found a 2004 with only 11k miles. Both are in great shape, but the 2003 is in better shape and has the distronic cruise. Both have all the same options except for the distronic cruise. The 2003 is only $2,000 cheaper than the 2004. Were the 2004 models better than the 2003? I'm hesitant to buy the 2004 because I can tell the owner didn't take as good of care of it and it has a small ding in the rear quarter panel and needs to be sanded down and painted to look correct. Comments please.
